Victoria Ward - Consultant

I studied French and Spanish at Kings College London. After two years as a student in London, my degree course led me to Paris where I studied at the Sorbonne, and then on to Mexico where, in addition to attending the local university, I had the opportunity to work as a journalist and make weekly contributions to the local newspaper. The journalism experience, combined with a keen interest in business and current affairs meant that on my return to the UK I naturally gravitated towards the City and financial communications.

I began my career at a small media and investor relations firm in London where I worked on a range of technology and clean-tech clients. After three years dealing with a wide range of issues and transactions, I was ready for my next challenge.

I made the move to Powerscourt as I believed that the firm's professionalism, dedication to excellence and high level media focus would provide the perfect backdrop with which to learn and to develop my financial PR skills. I have found the Powerscourt team to be diverse, energetic and committed, and there is a real energy in the air which comes from the sense of being part of a firm which is at the heart of some of most high profile corporate reputation issues in Europe.
