Powerscourt scoops double win at Corporate and Financial Awards

We were delighted to pick up two awards at Communicate Magazine’s Corporate and Financial Awards last night for our work earlier this year on behalf of the VentilatorChallengeUK, a consortium of more than 20 of the country’s leading aerospace, aviation and medical technology companies.

The consortium came together at a time of peril and designed and built over 13,500 additional ventilators to the National Health Service during the worst days of the pandemic. We worked with the consortium to manage all elements of its communications.

This was an immensely rewarding project which we were delighted to support and we are very proud that our work was recognised at last night’s awards with our team picking up Gold in the Most Effective Crisis Communications and Gold in Best Management of Corporate & Financial Media Relation.

The judges were impressed by the strong collaboration required to make this programme a success with one stating that our work was “the top entry” given that this was an “incredibly tricky and sensitive story to coordinate and land in the appropriate way, delivered under enormous pressure.”

Congratulations once again to everyone involved with VentilatorChallengeUK and the incredible work they undertook to help provide much needed capacity into the NHS at a crucial point in the COVID19 pandemic.
