MORE AWARDS FOR POWERSCOURT

We’re pleased to announce our work for Halfords plc won the award for ‘Best Integrated Campaign’ at CorpComms magazine’s Covid Comms Awards this week. The Get Back on a Bike campaign was a multi-stakeholder programme designed to demonstrate Halfords’ leading role in the cycling renaissance which began with the first lockdown. We were also shortlisted for ‘Most Effective Capital Markets Communication’ for our work for SSP.

This is the latest in a series of awards for Powerscourt in 2020. In January Powerscourt was named Agency of the Year at the PRCA City & Financial Awards. The PRCA is  our key industry body and the award followed an active year in financial markets, continued sector excellence, the development of our integrated offer and investment in our corporate purpose and brand.

The PRCA also recognised our work for Bovis Homes’ acquisition of the Linden Homes and Partnerships & Regeneration divisions from Galliford Try (creating the enlarged Vistry Group PLC) which was shortlisted for ‘Best M&A or Communications in Support of a Transaction Award’.

More recently, our work for Ventilator Challenge UK scooped two categories at the Corporate and Financial Awards, taking top spot in the ‘Most Effective Crisis Communications’ and ‘Best Management of Corporate & Financial Media Relations’ categories. The judges were impressed with our work supporting a consortium of aviation, automotive and medical technology firms who collaborated on the production of 13,500 ventilators. One judge said that our work was “the top entry” given that this was an “incredibly tricky and sensitive story to coordinate and land in the appropriate way, delivered under enormous pressure.”
