POWERSCOURT AWARDED BEST M&A COMMUNICATIONS IN SUPPORT OF A TRANSACTION

Powerscourt is delighted to announce that it has won Best M&A Communications in Support of a Transaction at the 2021 PRCA City and Financial Awards, for client Jupiter Asset Management’s acquisition of Merian Global Investors.

Powerscourt advised on this £370 million Class 1 transaction, working closely with Jupiter’s deal and communications teams to deliver a multi stakeholder strategy to support the deal process, which was one of the first major transactions to be completed during the pandemic. The Jupiter team successfully managed Covid-related disruption and severe market uncertainty, as well as the early days of remote working, to complete this high profile deal in the middle of the UK’s first national lockdown.
