Takeover of Arrow Global plc

Powerscourt advised TDR Capital on its £560 million bid to acquire Arrow Global plc, a leading UK debt management firm.  We worked with TDR Capital and its other advisors providing strategic communications advice during a number of offer TDR Capital and the PUSU extension, operating within the framework of the Takeover Code.   Throughout this time, we ensured the media understood the key messages and why TDR Capital was a credible bidder; the attractiveness of the offer; and the rationale for Arrow Global no longer operating under the constraints of being a public company.  The challenge was also to ensure the media did not mistakenly see this a COVID-19 related transaction.
