Avon Protection plc appoints Powerscourt as financial and corporate communications adviser

Powerscourt is thrilled to be working with Avon Protection plc (“Avon”), a world leader in protective equipment, to advise on all elements of the Group’s financial and corporate communications.

Avon Protection plc provides cutting-edge respiratory and head protection systems to global militaries and first responders worldwide through its two brands, Avon Protection and Team Wendy.

The Group is currently implementing its “STAR” strategy, working to Strengthen, Transform, Advance and Revolutionise all aspects of the business in order to realise its potential and deliver over 5% annualised revenue growth, mid-teens operating margins and improved cash flow in the medium term. With the leadership of Jos Sclater, CEO, and Rich Cashin, CFO, the Avon team have created a platform for superb execution of its strategy.

The account team will be led by James White, Senior Director and Head of Industrials and Support Services, supported by Maxim Hibbs, Associate, and Ella Lister, Analyst.

Powerscourt’s appointment to Avon Protection plc follows a strong start to 2024 for the Industrials and Support Services team, including supporting Pennon Group on its acquisition of SES Water, the completion of Lithia Driveway’s acquisition of Pendragon’s UK motor and fleet management divisions for £397 million and WE Soda’s successful $1.48 billion bond issuance.
