Powerscourt was recognised for our expertise in strategic communications and social media at the PRCA City & Financial Awards 2024, picking up two coveted awards in a highly competitive field.

Our work with Auto Trader positioned them as a key thought leader on Electric Vehicle adoption with a bi-annual series of reports on the “Road to 2030” – later renamed Road to 2035 following a delay to the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars last autumn. The campaign leverages Auto Trader’s data and insight to influence government policy and support mass adoption of electric vehicles.

Powerscourt was also awarded Best Social Media Campaign for our innovative work to promote Blanchardstown, a major retail and leisure destination in Dublin, to international stakeholders. Over several months, we worked closely with our clients Falcon Asset Management and Goldman Sachs Asset Management to deliver a step change in the centre’s public profile. The success of this campaign highlights the important role of targeted social media campaigns as part of an integrated approach to corporate communications.

Powerscourt was also shortlisted for Best IPO Campaign Award for our work supporting DarGlobal’s London float, one of the biggest London listings in 2023; and Best M&A or Transaction Award for our working advising Lithia & Driveway on their acquisition of Pendragon’s UK motor and fleet management divisions.

The two accolades mark the start of a busy awards season, with Powerscourt securing a double nomination for the PRWeek Corporate Affairs Awards in the Best Handling of a De/Merger or Acquisition Deal category. The results of these awards will be announced in April 2024.

Victoria Palmer-Moore, Senior Managing Director, said: “These awards are a testament to our relentless focus on client outcomes, our collaborative and creative approach to financial communications and our great people.”
